Why not try The Maven, located just off of Call Lane is a sophisticated nod to the prohibition era. This hidden gem is easily missable (as there is no sign) but it’s definitely worth the hunt. They have an impressive selection of cocktails and if you don’t find what you’re looking for on the menu, their mixologists are more than happy to whip up the cocktail of your choice, just the way you like it!

A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures for anything…right? Ok, so we may not be able to help you with the sleep part, but Alan Carr is playing at the Grand Theatre from June 28th onwards and if he’s your cup of Yorkshire tea, then he might get a few laughs out of you.
