It’s finally here. The day we’ve all been waiting for, the day you bring home the bacon, bear the palm, take the cake…it’s payday!

If you’re a little unsure how best to spend your new found fortune, then let us give you a helping hand in exploring your great city.

Nothing welcomes payday better than a burger from Almost Famous! They’re open till midnight, so you can finish your after work drinks off in a food coma style with their ‘Shut Up America’ burger, but be warned, this is not for the faint hearted!

Manchester’s burger heaven can be found here.

Could it be a cocktail kind of weekend? If so, Epernay will certainly not disappoint with their selection of over 30 different champagnes and cocktails to choose from. If bubbles aren’t your thing, then why not take advantage of a relaxing Sunday and book yourself in for afternoon tea?

Bubbles, cakes and cocktails can all be enjoyed here.

Not going to Glastonbury this year? Never fear, Islington Mill has you covered! They’re throwing an all-day party, so grab a few friends, put on your dancing shoes and get on down here.

If High Hoops sounds a little too energetic for you, there’s always the Manchester Museum where Romuald Hazoume will be exhibiting his new work ‘Dance of the Butterflies’.

Flutter on over here.

Even if we do say so ourselves, your weekend looks to be shaping up rather nicely. If you do decide to go on an adventure to any of these places, we’d love to know what you thought.
