Get fit and explore London…for free!

With plunging temperatures and Christmas, fast becoming a distant memory it’s easy for us to get into a slump.

There’s no better way to shake off that post-holiday come down, than an amazing workout.

Don’t be put off by expensive gym membership prices either; there are loads of free, outdoors gyms all over London.

So what are you waiting for? Grab your iPod, your running shoes and let’s kick ass in 2016!

Victoria Park

One of London’s oldest and most idyllic parks, Victoria Park is a perfect spot for a morning jog.

Their outdoor gym is located just south of St Mark’s Gate entrance and is laid out like an athletics field, with plenty of obstacles for you to really get your blood pumping!

Kennington Park

Sandwiched between Oval and Kennington station, Kennington Park is very easy to get to.

Not only do you have a brilliant outdoor gym that is set out like an obstacle course, but there are also tennis courts available if you fancy a spot of tennis after warming up in the outdoor gym!

Wormwood Scrubs

A large expanse of land in the shadow of Wormwood Scrubs prison, but don’t let that deter you!

Bordering the park on the north side of the Linford Christie stadium is a New York style bar park. The opportunities are endless here, with enough equipment to keep you on your toes!

Primrose Hill

The crème de la crème of London’s parks has to be Primrose Hill. Not only does it feature one of the best views in London, it also has a fantastic outdoor gym.

With plenty of equipment to choose from, this outdoor gym can really cater to your specific work-out needs.

Parliament Hill Fields

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to the outdoor gym at Parliament Hill Fields, almost hidden under a canopy of trees you can really get your teeth into the work-out equipment available here.

Why not take a leisurely stroll around the park to cool down afterwards!
