It’s January and that can only mean two things.
Gyms are crowded and everyone is desperately trying to avoid the chocolate cupboard.
So with everyone getting fit and healthy this new year, we couldn’t think of a better excuse to share with you, our favourite smoothie recipes for 2016!
Berry banana bonanza (serves 2 – we like to share)
Ingredients:
1 cup of frozen blueberries
1 cup of yogurt
1 ripe banana
How-to
Throw everything into the blender and whizz until smooth
Decant into two glasses and get sharing the health
Make your friends green with envy!
Ingredients:
½ large apple (chopped and cored)
1 large handful of kale (ribs and stems removed)
½ banana
½ cup orange juice
How-To
Put everything into the blender, pop the lid on and get whizzing
Beet this y’all!
Ingredients:
2 small beetroots (cooked, peeled and chopped)
1 small apple (peeled and quartered)
1/2 lime (juiced)
1 orange (juiced)
1 cube of ginger (grated)
300ml water

You know the drill, throw everything into the blender and blend until super smooth
