In the building across the carpark at Hassle HQ, lies our great recruitment team. They work their magic in our shiny, newly opened, beautiful office…not that we’re jealous or anything!
In there you can find Isobel, our lead recruiter. Isobel spends her time meeting, chatting, interviewing and getting to know all our lovely Hassle.com cleaners!
We caught up with her (okay…so we *actually* just interrupted her lunch break to chat with her) to find out a bit more about her. Come and find out what she gets up to in her spare time, what her favourite cocktail is and what brought her to Hassle.com.
Q: Hey Isobel! Thanks for letting us shoehorn your lunch, we’ll keep it short. Let’s start easy, what does your day-to-day look like at Hassle.com?
Isobel: It begins with saying hello to all the guys and girls in the other cities and then I try and get some references done for our cleaners. The morning gets nice and busy with cleaners coming in for face-to-face interviews so the days fly by. Then in the afternoon it’s phones, phones, phones!
Q: Sounds busy! What attracted you to Hassle.com then?
A: Definitely the culture and the people. You spend so much time working that its important you love what you do, at Hassle.com the teams work so well and so effectively together, there’s a collective passion because everyone is working towards the same goal.
Q: And in your day, what 3 things couldn’t you do your job without?
A Oh, my phone, Google Drive and the occasional Maryland gooey cookie!
Q: Yum! Well cookies *are* a pretty essential tool. So speaking of food, where’s your favourite place to eat in London?
A: Easy, Gaucho Argentinian Steakhouse in Piccadilly, or CAU in Wimbledon. I also do a bit of mystery dining in my spare time, so I’m a bit of a food fan.
Q: Mystery dining? Nice! So back to work, what music do you listen to when you’re at work?
A: Magic FM, but when that’s too slow its Kiss FM
Q: Now, let’s get to some of the fun stuff. What’s on your bucket list?
A: Travelling. I definitely want travel more around Europe and America.
Q: Nice. Okay, just a few more. Other than being bugged while on lunch…what else annoys you?
A: Loud eaters! Definitely loud eaters.
Q: *Stops eating next to Isobel* Okay, last question, If you had to pick a cocktail, what would it be?
A: Mudslide! Anything with cream blended with ice cream is a good mix!
So there you have it, Isobel, our mudslide drinking, sweet toothed, lead recruiter. If you’ve got a question for her, let us know in the comments below and we can get it answered for you.
