UK & IRL Cleaner of the Year: Ricardo

With 2015 drawing to a close, we’d like to end the year on a high by naming our Cleaner of the Year!

Ricardo  joined just over a year ago and quickly became one of our best performing cleaners. His customers fell in love with his efficient, hard-working approach to his work and charming personality.

Needless to say, we had to invite Ricardo into HQ to say thank-you. We also had to find out how he keeps his customers so happy!

Congratulations on the award, you deserve it! How did you start with

Thank you so much, it’s an honour, honestly! I guess I started working with you guys about a year and a half ago now! My girlfriend works with you guys and she recommended you to me.

Amazing, we’re glad she did! Tell us, why do you like working with as a self-employed cleaner?

Working with you guys allows me the freedom to build my work around my life and not the other way around. I just love the flexibility!

The flexibility is definitely a bonus! So what would you say is the secret to maintaining  happy customers?

First of all, you not only need to be a great cleaner but you also need to have a great attitude! Customers like it if you are personable, it makes them feel more relaxed. Also, you’ve got to take pride in your work and do the best job you can.

We agree and we’re sure your customers do too! Aside from cleaning, how do you like to spend your time?

Normally, I like to spend time cooking Venezuelan dishes for my friends. I like to think I’m a great cook. There’s nothing like kicking back with your friends and a couple of beers though.

Sounds like heaven! How do you find living in Dublin?

I love it here. The Irish people are so friendly and the city is beautiful. There is so much to see and do. I’m never bored. Also, Dublin has some brilliant architecture. I really like that it’s not too big, so I can ride my bicycle to my jobs.

We love having you here! Thanks for coming in Ricardo and enjoy your Christmas.

Thank-you! Happy Holidays!
